Arkansas Backflow & Plumbing, Inc. is a licensed plumbing company based in Van Buren, owned and operated by Glenn. He has more than twenty years of experience and has been serving Fort Smith and the River Valley since 2002.

Do you do general plumbing, or only backflow?
We are a licensed master plumber who handles everyday residential and commercial plumbing — repairs, water heaters, drains, leaks, and fixtures. Backflow testing and repair is a specialty we are separately certified for, not the only thing we do. If you have a plumbing problem, give us a call and we will help you figure it out.
What is backflow testing and why do I need it?
A backflow prevention assembly protects the public drinking water supply from contamination caused by cross-connections, such as irrigation systems, boilers, or fire lines. Most local water purveyors require these assemblies to be tested annually by a certified tester, with the results submitted as a test report. Properties that do not comply may receive a compliance notice or have water service interrupted.
What happens if my backflow preventer fails the test?
We are certified to perform both testing and repair, so a failed assembly can typically be repaired on-site using manufacturer-approved parts. If the assembly cannot be repaired, we will walk you through replacement options. A retest is performed once repairs are complete, and the updated report is submitted to the water authority.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. Commercial properties, including restaurants, retail buildings, churches, and offices, receive the same plumbing and backflow services we provide to residential customers.
