What Is Included in Drain Cleaning
- Kitchen sink drains clogged with grease, food scraps, and soap buildup.
- Bathroom sinks, tubs, and showers slowed down by hair and soap.
- Toilets that will not flush or keep backing up.
- Laundry and floor drains.
- Main line clearing when more than one fixture backs up at once.
- Repairing or replacing drain traps and drain piping when the clog turns out to be a broken pipe.
- Cleaning up the work area before we leave.
Is It One Drain or the Main Sewer Line?
A single slow sink usually means the clog is close to that fixture. When several drains act up at the same time, the problem is usually further down, in the main line that carries everything out to the sewer or septic system.
Watch for these clues: water coming up in the tub when you flush a toilet, gurgling from drains you are not using, or a floor drain or cleanout that overflows. If you see any of those, stop running water and call or text us. A main line clog only gets worse with every load of laundry.
Main lines are most often blocked by tree roots, grease, and items that should not be flushed, like wipes. Once the line is clear, we will tell you what we found and what you can do to keep it from happening again.
Signs You Need Drain Cleaning
- Water drains slowly or stands in the sink, tub, or shower.
- Gurgling sounds from drains or toilets.
- A sewer smell from drains.
- More than one fixture backs up at the same time.
- Water comes up in the tub or shower when the toilet is flushed.
- Store-bought drain cleaner did not fix it, or the clog keeps coming back.
Drain Cleaning for Homes and Businesses
At home, most clogs are in kitchen sinks, bathroom drains, and toilets. Older homes in the River Valley can also have main lines that roots have found their way into. We clear the line and talk with you about the condition of the pipe.
For businesses, a backed-up drain can stop service. Restaurant kitchens collect grease in their lines, and public restrooms see heavy use. We clear commercial drains and main lines for restaurants, churches, offices, and retail buildings, and we work with you to keep the disruption short.

Drain Cleaning Questions
Should I use chemical drain cleaner first?
We suggest skipping it. Chemical drain cleaners often do not clear a real clog, and they can be hard on older pipes. They also make the job less safe for whoever works on the drain next. A plunger is fine to try. If that does not work, call or text us and we will clear it properly.
How do I know if my main sewer line is clogged?
The biggest clue is more than one drain acting up at once. Water rising in the tub when you flush a toilet, gurgling from other drains, or an overflowing cleanout all point to the main line. If you notice these, stop using water as much as you can and call or text us.
What causes main line clogs?
Tree roots, grease, and things that should not go down a drain, such as wipes and paper towels, are the most common causes. Older pipes with sags or cracked joints catch debris more easily. After we clear the line, we will tell you what we found and how to help keep it from coming back.
Do you clean commercial drains?
Yes. We clear kitchen lines, restroom drains, floor drains, and main lines for restaurants, churches, offices, and retail buildings across Fort Smith, Van Buren, and the River Valley. Call or text and tell us what is backing up, and we will work out a time to get it cleared.
